Nice Spring Saturday. People smiling as they move on Myrtle. A good mood shared by all.
Then I almost step into spit placed in the middle of the sidewalk. Not to make too dramatic a point, does it have any value when placed on our sidewalk? I could care less about the possible psychosocial socioeconomic metamorphosis of this practice. But, I like my Satuday mood in Bed-Stuy!!
This might be a risky question, but does anyone have an action shot of someone spitting on the sidewalk, any sidewalk? If so, please send me the photo. Maybe in microcosm, I might gain some insight into the whys and wherefors of this practice.

I don’t have pics but I too often wonder why people find it necessary to spit on the sidewalk. I see old, young, any age. I witnessed people blowing their noise without a tissue on the street just letting it fly. This is one issue that the Mayor should crack down on and give tickets for.
