I love the fact that my area of Bed-Stuy is filled with images of otherworldly beings. Everywhere you look there are friendly cosmic creatures. This little fellow greets you at the train station.Â
Maybe this one isn’t so friendly. It frowns at us while we walk along Bedford.
These twin aliens live in an abandoned lot.  Everyday I peep through a hole in the fence to see them.
One of my favorites lives on Myrtle. He greets the customers at the Castillo Repair Shop.

these are great images. as far as bedford feeling deserted-take it in now, because it’s just a matter of time before you’ll be reminiscing. i think we’ll be seeing a lot of growth around here in the days to come.

I think you’re right. I’ve been in the neighborhood just under 2 years and I can’t believe how quickly Bedford is changing.
