New Kid on the Block

I’m wondering what is going appear in this vacant lot on Spencer. The lot is next to a community garden and just a few steps away from the glorious Kodachrome building.Â
 
The sign says that this will be a luxury development, but you know the word “luxury” in Brooklyn developer-speak can mean anything, and the fact that they have to mention luxury on this sign is somewhat worrisome.  The addition of the Kodachrome building has raised the bar on Spencer, so if this new building arrives on the scene wearing Fedders or Friedrich I will be very angry.  We’ll have to keep an eye on this one.
