SPIKE LEE OPEN CALL FOR ACTORS to play soldiers in 1940s film Casting (NON-UNION OPEN CALL)
Winsome Sinclair & Associates will be casting FEATURED extra roles for SPIKE LEE’s new feature length film, “MIRACLE AT ST. ANNA”. We will be shooting on location in ITALY starting on September 30, 2007 for 6 weeks.
There will be an open call for talent held on Friday SEPTEMBER 7 2007 at 75 South Elliot Place, ground floor, Fort Greene, 11am to 6pm.
We are specifically seeking those who can play African American Males between the ages of 20-30 to play soldiers from 1940’s (WWII).
Production will cover travel room & board and per diem, and pay. Those interested should attend and bring a recent headshot/snapshot and a pencil. Must have VALID PASSPORT and be able to travel to work on location in ITALY for 6 weeks.

I submitted my details today in person for Miracle at St.Anna. Is it safe to asume that if I do not hear from the casting co in a week that I’ve been passed over? and do you know many guys will go to Italy for the Euro portion of the shoot?

i just found out about the call from my sister. is there going to be a call for any states side work? just curious… i’m ex military and have on the set exposure, was a police officer in “Selena” staring jennifer Lopez and played a buffalo soldier in Teddy Rosevelts Rough Riders it was a TnT original movie. let me know if i can do any work on this film really wanted to be apart of it.
