I never imagined that they would finally arrive, but it looks like we’ve got us some of those newfangled glass bus shelters. They are a great improvement over the previous shelters, and it’s amazing how a simple change like this can really improve the look of a corner.
I hate to say this…but I hope people do not start graffiting on this…
We waited for a bus at one of these on Vanderbilt at Greene and the one thing they left off was the timetable… The map is there and the instructions are there but no timetable… I hope they correct this especially on bus lines that don’t run so frequently… Granted the times are often wrong but at least it gives you a sense of how often they’re SUPPOSED to be running…
It would be great if they could add a display that would tell you when the next bus is set to arrive, something similar to the displays that they have in the L train station.
