House Tour This Weekend!
By The Changeling | October 19, 2007

In case you’ve been living in a cave and didn’t know this already, The Brownstoners of Bedford-Stuyvesant will be having their 29th Annual House Tour tomorrow. We can’t wait to see all of the droolworthy homes–we’ve been looking forward to this for weeks. Some of you Bed-Stuy Blog readers have homes on the tour this year, so we are also looking forward to meeting you.
If seeing beautiful homes isn’t enough for you, the tour will also include a homeownership workshop at 9:00 a.m. to teach you how to finance a home in Bed-Stuy, and from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. there will be a holiday bazaar. The house tour starts at Boys High School located at 832 Marcy Avenue (Putnam Avenue entrance) at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and they are available at the following locations:
Brownstone Books - 409 Lewis Avenue
Lewis Gallery - 411 Lewis Avenue
Juke Joint Juice Jaffe - 1585 Fulton Street
Allstate Insurance - 499 Atlantic Avenue
bushbaby cafe - 1197 Fulton Street

I will be showing 236 Decatur bet. Lewis and Stuyvesant on that day so please come over and see original Tiffany details on a parlor floor 1pm - 3pm. This is a show stopper for the details. It is for rent and I am an agent, so come and be amazed.

My favorite were the Oden home and the King home.
I didn’t get to see the Mitchell home.
