Perhaps the issue of aggressive ticketing of bikers by cops can be raised at this meeting.

Yeah, I hope that we all can be as vocal as possible at these community council meetings to let the police know how we feel. Even if you think that riding on the sidewalk for a couple of seconds is a crime and that people should be ticketed for it, I think most of us would agree that it’s better for the police to focus their energies on the more serious crimes and that when police do decide to pull people over for minor infractions, they need not treat them as though they were hardened criminals.
