Soul Pictures: Black Feminist Generations

Professor Michele Wallace will be doing a powerpoint presentation focused on the work and life of Faith Ringgold (her mother) at the Sackler Center for the Study of Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum (4th Floor) at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 8.

Prof. Williams writes: “Hope to see you there. The Center for the Study of Feminist Art, which houses among other things a permanent installation of Judy Chicago’s The Dinner Party is well worth a visit all on its own. Also, there is an exhibition of Caribbean Art currently being featured in the main gallery in the museum. ”
