Our neighborhood bookstore, Brownstone Books, has a book club that meets every month. This month’s selection is Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. According to the Brownstone Books website:

Brownstone Books’ adult book club meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.. Our club reads a variety of fiction and non-fiction work from various cultures. Club members are a diverse group of men and women ranging in age from 25 to 70. Meetings are free and open to the public.

Sounds like a great way to meet other bibliophiles in the neighborhood.

i wish there were more upscale shops besides these few. anyone know of anything good on fulton or broadway?

any major differences between these two commercial strips? guess broadway has those loud JMZ trains running above it.

What do you mean by “more upscale”?
