I'm sorry, but I can't seem to fix the link. When I do, it works for awhile and then it links you to a blank page on the realtor's website. Strange...

Interesting stuff. I hadn't been at the site in a little while. The move to real estate was pretty smooth.

fyi: A problem with the link to this one:

#2 — $849,000 — 3 family: I walk by this building pretty often. It looks nice and it’s near a lot of amenities, but it’s located at a very busy intersection and near an elementary school. I believe that it was marketed by Corcoran until recently.
Willoughby and Nostrand Myrtle-Willoughby G

Take care.

@Newbie 2: Thanks. The things you find while searching for real estate are hilarious.

@sally: Try the link now. I think every Brooklynite would say that space was one of the features that sold them on their place (especially the Brooklynites who are former Manhattanites).

Rentals:
#1Wow a pink house - is this in Miami?

#2 If you try to overlook the sidewalk you may trip on it. Why doesn't the city fix these and bill the owner. I heard that's what is suppose to happen.

#3 A low price for a 3 bedroom, but you have to walk on vinyl floors. Worth it!

Sales:
#1 The outside is charming on this home.May be near the massive projects.
#2 Link doesn't work. I'd like to see what I can't afford!
#3 I looked at these, and they seemed nice but the walk to the subway is tough.
#4 This is my favorite. It looks so tall, and love the arch over the doorway. That white looks so pure in the city.
#5 The pick of the week doesn't have enough pictures for me. Yes the backyard is wonderful, although stacking bricks that high scares me.

What kind of features does everyone have in their apartment or homes that sold them on it?

This is a great feature, and your comments are a hoot, Changeling.

I think you could fill an entire blog with the mis-spellings and odd comments you see when searching for real estate.

@ laduchessa: I really like selecting them just so I can hear what others think about the properties. You folks make it fun.

@ Alexa: Correctamundo! That's a flip. When I first moved to Bed-Stuy I think that the building was abandoned and it had a sign that read "Lydon Baines Johnson Health Clinic" or something similarly odd. Then one day they started ripping it apart and doing the reno thing. I think I'd like to see the inside.

LOL about the 1.2 bedrooms! I was going to mention it, but I knew I'd be accused of being a math snob if I did. Thank you, Alexa, for doing the honors.

OMG I just read the ad for Rental #1 -- it's pre-historic and has 1.2 bedrooms. So the 2nd bedroom is 1/5 the size of the other?

Apartment hunting was never so much fun when I was doing it!

Sales #2 is a flip, I think. I remember seeing something about it in the recent sales on Brownstoner a few months back. I think there's only one 3 family on that intersection.

i really look forward to your real estate picks every week. love them!

rental # 1 looks pretty good for being pre-historic. i was expecting something more cave-like.

as for the pick of the week... the patio says it all. beautiful. and nice floors, too.
