Rental #1 has 3 bedrooms while good doesn’t warrant 3K – crazy. #2 Is a gorgeous block, love the fireplace and the living room, the kitchen looks so simple, nice, and white, and bathroom is attractive too although the border is crazy. Read the fine print it says “at least $1400″. #3 is a bargain but also says 1.5 / 2.00 bedrooms. #4 utilites included! But those floors are ugly.

Sales #1. Ugly pic they posted, and headline is asking for trouble. BedStuy opens doors, and are moving owners out! #2 ugly on the outside and ugly floors. They chopped up and made this house an eye sore from the outside. #3 Just plain odd, and who allowed such a monster building like this. #4 Some nice details, price is cheaper than others, they redid the outside facade. Could be nice.

@Newbie2: The POTW is in the grey area between Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights, I think. Some say the border between the two neighborhoods is Fulton, and others say Atlantic.

@Alexa: I get that same weird feeling when I see sales #3. I really wanna see the inside to see if it makes up for the unusual looking outside.

Sales #1 – if you go to “Roody”‘s site, you’ll see more photos; the house looks like it’s retained a lot of original details. I don’t know why he chose to post 2 identical photos of the ugly kitchen on the CL ad, but I’ve given up trying to fathom the ways of RE agents.

Sales #3 – I’ve only seen this building from the outside. I’m surprised to see the listing states it was built in 1910 as it looks more contemporary from the street. In fact, it looks plain weird. But from the pics the interior seems kinda cool.

Pick of the week is in Crown Heights, per the link. If it is on the park, it is not in Bed-Stuy. If it is on Kingston and near the A/C it is very close to Atlantic Avenue.

Sales #1 is overpriced in my opinion. Unless I am missing something, the link only has one picture shown twice. A very bad sign of things to come.

OK, before I sound like one of those crazy people on Brownstoner, I am out!
