Bed-Stuy Volunteer Opportunities
For many of us, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day induce happiness, gratitude and all-around love for mankind, and this emotional trifecta often results in our wanting to get out and help others. I usually have the same conversation with friends every year: how can we help others? What volunteer opportunities are out there?
This year, I’m much more interested in finding what volunteer opportunities are available in Bed-Stuy. I’m sure that there are a lot of organizations that have centers here that can use a helping hand.
Is anyone currently volunteering in a neighborhood organization? Does anyone know of any Bed-Stuy organizations looking for volunteers? (The organization name and contact information would be greatly appreciated!)
