Registration for the Bed-Stuy Little League 2008 Season

Registration for the Inner City Sports Bed-Stuy Little League 2008 season will be held on Saturday, December 29th, 2007, from 10am to 3pm at Herbert Von King Committee Center located at 670 Lafayette Avenue, between Marcy and Tompkins Monday, January 7th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Concord Baptist Church at 833 Marcy Avenue (at Madison Street) in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Children ages 4 (must turn 4 by April 30, 2008) to 15 who live within Bedford-Stuyvesant, Crown Heights, Ocean Hill, Brownsville, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, East New York and Buswick are eligible to enroll to play co-ed baseball. Registration is required even if the child played previously.

At least one parent or legal guardian must be present with three proofs of residence and a copy of the child’s birth certificate. The documents will be inspected and returned at registration at the awards ceremony at the end of the season.     ON THE CORNER OF MADISON AND PATCHEN AVE THEY NOW HAVE A REGULATION BASKETBALL COURT SET UP AND HAVE A FOOTBALL/SOCCER FIELD IN THE SAME PARK AREA SO THIS SUMMER THEY WILL NEED VOLUNTEERS MORE THAN LIKELY TO HELP OTU THE CHILDREN

    Hi all,

    Just to let you know, the Inner City Sports Little League uses the field on Madison/Patchen as well during the season. As well as its home park at Lafayette & Marcy. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated! Also, the league commissioner, Mike Harris and all commissioners will be at the Monday, Jan. 7th registration held at the Concord Baptist Church 4pm to 8pm.
    You will get a better feel of the league there!
