Gnarly Vines Wine Tasting

January 25, 2008
6:00 pmto9:00 pm

My experience at Gnarly Vines has been excellent, and that’s why I’m always encouraging people to visit the store. I’m a fan of sweet wines and ice wines (some of the most underappreciated wines in my opinion), and Brian and the staff of Gnarly Vines have always given me great recommendations based on my preferences. I’ve never gone home with a bottle of something I didn’t like. If you want a wine shop with knowledgeable, friendly staff, then head straight to Gnarly Vines. Tomorrow they will be having a free in-store wine tasting. They will be sampling Mezcal Los Amantes.

MEZCAL LOS AMANTES TASTING
A far cry from the foggy Jose Cuervo nights of your college days, Mezcal Los Amantes is sipped and appreciated like a fine single malt scotch. Master Mezcal producer and transplanted New Yorker Ignacio Carballido will be on hand to pour his two artisanal, hand-crafted, rare Mezcals – Joven and Reposado. Taste the difference and learn about traditional Mezcal production and how it differs from Tequila. Served with homemade pico de gallo and tortilla chips.
