4th Annual Brooklyn Indie House: Call For Entries
By Alexa11221 | March 25, 2008
From The Black and Latino Filmmaker’s Coalition (BLFC):
The Brooklyn Indie House is an independent film theater run by the BLFC with the purpose of providing a permanent exhibition space for filmmakers outside of the Hollywood machine.
We accept films of all genres and of any length. For films with non-English dialogue, English subtitles are required. Film selection criteria include artistry, technical skill and content. We are especially interested in work by Black and Latino filmmakers, but nationality is not a selection criteria.
There is a $15 submission fee for the Brooklyn Indie House. Preview editions must be NTSC VHS or DVD. These preview copies become property of the Black and Latino Filmmaker’s Coalition and will not be returned.
The deadline for submission for the 2008 festival is April 11, 2008.
Submission does not guarantee exhibition of the film in the Brooklyn Indie House. Selected films will receive a percentage of box office sales.
For film submissions, please complete the online application at our web site and then send a preview copy to the following postal address:

473 Herkimer Street
