I recently received this information from Community Board #3. Unfortunately, there are many homeowners in the neighborhood who on the lien list, which now includes both water/sewer charges and property taxes. In response, the “Know the Facts. Don’t Lose Your Home” Collective, HPD, the Department of Finance, the DEP and the Office of councilman Albert Vann are inviting you to attend the Community Water and Tax Lien Help Night. The Help Night will provide an opportunity for our neighbors to handle their affairs right here in the neighborhood. Staff from Finance and DEP actually bring their computers, so that accounts can be accessed on the spot. We do not want any more homes in Bed-Stuy to wind up in foreclosure, so please spread the word about Help Night.

Water and Tax Lien Help Night
