Learning Garden programs bring garden-based learning to New York City schoolchildren and community members.
Learning Gardens “Coming UP†Inauguration - Friday, April 25th 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Celebrate this new community green haven and help the greening of Brooklyn by planting a tree, a seed, a flower, and a dream.
It’s My Garden (Oops! My Park) - Saturday, May 17th 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Grow your gardening skills and heighten your senses as we plant, play, and prance together.
Butterflies ‘n’ Buds - Saturday, June 21st 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Greet the butterflies and help create a splendid habitat by planting bold and bodacious flowers.
Learning in the Garden - July 7th to August 14th 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Classes and activities for community groups, day camps, organizations, and other programs are offered from July 8th-August 14th. Call (212) 360-1485 to schedule classes.
Plant ‘n’ Play - Wednesdays (July 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th; August 6th, 13th) 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
