OK, so, it’s “French rotisserie” chicken, which has to be a step up.
I’ve recently noticed that the commercial space on the corner of Marcy and Lafayette Avenues seems to have a tenant (although there is still a “Commercial Space Available” banner on the Marcy side). I’ve never seen it open, though. When I called the number on the sign (718 387-5777) there was no answer, not even a recorded message.
Anybody know anything about this?

What, no love for the tipster? I keep seeing two 30-something guys (who ride vespas) working on this place. I’m thinking they’re going to use the backyard area for dining, which would be awesome. Hopefully, it’ll open soon!
Someone sent me a tip about this (thanks JS!), but before I could head over there and get a picture of it, Alexa beat me to it. Alexa travels along Lafayette much more frequently than I do (I frequent that area only when the Bed-Stuy CSA is in full swing), so I’m not sure if she was tipped off or she just happened to see it on one of her daily trips in the ‘hood.
Never meant to short-change the tipsters! They’re our eyes and ears all over Bed-Stuy.
I’ve been watching and waiting to see if anything happened, and finally gave into my curiosity and posted the picture. It’s near my house and go by there several times a day! I would be thrilled if a decent and inexpensive restaurant opened nearby.
