They now basically allow you to have the quarantine period in your home country at home. You get the cat microchipped, get it scanned when it gets a rabies shot, get it blood tested to show it got an effective vaccine. Then when it arrives in UK, it gets scanned to verify it's the same cat as on the paperwork.
