Groundbreaking Ceremony for Weeksville Heritage Center’s New Education and Cultural Arts Building

Come to Weeksville to celebrate the latest expansion project, a Sustainable Gold LEED standard building designed by Caples and Jefferson Architects. The new Education and Cultural Arts Center will dwell within the tradition of sustainable practices and design aesthetics which have existed in African American communities and expand the current definition of historic house museums.
