Everyone can break a posting record when it comes to Fresh Direct, but the leadership of the place they call home is an after thought. It saddens me that we are so worried about the new cafe on the corner or the cutesy loft condo on Lexington than we are the future of this community. The Politics section of the forumn has zero post. Are you even aware that the Assembly race is in September. Does it matter who represnts your district in Congress for 2009? We all complain about the crime, lack of amenities & services, dirty sidewalks and recreational areas. Do we realize our current leadership has done nothing to combat any of this? He may well known for his MTV days but this man may very well change the way politics are done here in Bed Stuy.
