Haunted Houses of Bed-Stuy 10/27

Haunted on Lafayette

This haunted house on Lafayette near Franklin wasn’t very spooky…

until I realized that it has 3 ghosts guarding it. In cartoons, the universal symbol for dead is X-ed out eyes, so I figured that these were ghosts, but I guess they could be dead 3-legged octopi.

Haunted Houses of Bed-Stuy 10/21

This haunted house on Madison between Bedford and Franklin was suggested by a reader (thanks, ab!) The house is definitely scary looking, and it is squeezed between two new construction buildings which adds to the spookiness. The ghosts have posted signs that say “It’s Our Community” and “Keep Out.” Will do.
