Is this place owned by the folks that have the red BBQ truck? I saw a red truck being spruced up in this backyard and thought it was going to be like a Habana Outpost deal...

I ordered from here tonight and I can say this:

1. the delivery was fast, 10-15 min (the spanish delivery guy was very nice - I actually feel bad because I only tipped 3 bucks, normally I think that's fair but tonight it was really cold and he was on bicycle which I realized only too late)

2. We ordered the plain chicken and the garlic and herb chicken combos. The plain chicken is just that - plain; it's okay but nothing to write about.

The garlic and herb was excellent, juicy and flavorful. The chicken portions were nice and large. Half a chicken! The plain cost $5 and for the herb and garlic $5.75.

The combo's include half a chicken with 1 side. $6.00 for plain chicken combo and $6.75 for the flavored chicken combo. The sides left us wanting, but considering they were only a dollar more, no complaints from us.

I would skip on the Spanish rice. It lacked salt and was far too peppered. It seemed to have been cooked in too much water because it's consistency was slightly thick and mushy.

The Cole Slaw on the other hand was really good.

All in all, we're ordering again soon.
Garlic and Herb chicken combo with a side of corn.
Lemon and Cumin with a side of Cole Slaw.

I agree that the awning doesn't do a good job of emphasizing Roosters' uniqueness. I wish they had Chicken Chic's design because it looks much better.

When I first moved here there was a pizza place (Romeo Pizza? Romero Pizza?) in the Roosters spot. I never saw that pizza place open though.

i'm glad you wrote about this place because a) i thought this place was old, and b) i thought it was just a random a** chicken spot, not "rotisserie" with free-range chicken! I think it's the awning... looks rather cheesy.

I know, you wouldn't think that it was anything more than just another chicken place, but when I saw "Rotisserie" on the awning I knew that it was offering something a little different.

Every time I pass chicken chic on the B38 bus, I get so sad :-(

I thought the roosters place was like a crown fried chicken!
