If things didn’t go so well for you this past Valentine’s Day, then the Bedford Central Development Corporation just might be able to help you out.
They’ll be hosting a Bachelor Auction and Silent Art Auction on Saturday, February 28, 2009 to benefit the Concord Home Services for the Elderly. The Home Services for the Elderly, founded in 1978, helps families assess the need for home care for their older adults and provides home care attendants to support their desires to live independently.
The event will feature a guest performance by The Angela Watson Trio alongside guest auctioneer, Hon. Letitia James (NYC 35th District Council Member). Bid on some of the NYC’s most eligible bachelors, such as Cake Man Raven (confectionary specialist) and Waleed Cope (entrepreneur & philanthropist) or place a bid on some of the beautiful art pieces up for auction.
This event is hosted by the Bedford Central Community Development Corp., which conducts financial literacy seminars and economic development initiatives and sponsored by Brownstone Books, Christ Couture®, Peaches Restaurant & Bar and Zion Gallery
