What’s the story?

People in Bed- Stuy do things differently. A multitude of backgrounds make for an interesting mix, from food to fashion.

What we place in the front yard is no exception. We have blocks that compete, and win, most beautiful in the city. And we have blocks that boast pianos as front yard decor.

I have seen many BBQ grills, bicycles, and baby strollers, but I began to pay closer attention (after the piano) and found many things that make me wonder what’s the story.

Taking a different route back from the grocery store resulted in another interesting find.

This Vespa, chained to a gate outside of a home on Van Buren St bt. Lewis and Marcus Garvey, makes the list of interesting items that leave me wondering. How long has it been there? Has it been chained to this gate in retirement after a long life of use?

What’s the story behind this Vespa? Does anyone know?

    Hey! You were near me!

There’s also one of those huge plush Honda cruising bikes similar chained up on Greene Ave one block over.

This block also has it’s share of BBQ grills and a stove (??) covered in a tarp.

This is really making me nervous, back in the day, I had a nice vespa…new plugs with a smokin paint job. But was damaged and ended up looking like this one. Come to find out my Xgirlfriend was the one who f#@! it up…she thought I was cheating on her. I wonder if… Na it can’t be.

Haha, tripp. That would certainly make this story a lot more interesting :D
