Planning Meeting:

Optional short film screening follows meeting: “Seeds, Hope & Concrete: Building Communities, Improving Lives,” 15 min.
Bring the Malcolm X Blvd. Community Farmers’ Market into community hands,
hearts, and minds in order to make it flourish in the coming years and feed
real community needs. Join together with other cooks, gardeners, restaurant
owners, community organizers, & volunteers to discuss what needs to be done and sign up to volunteer between now and July to ensure the best market
possible! Share your ideas, thoughts and concerns and help shape the future of
the market!
We need help with: event planning, fund raising, logo design, blog,
e-newsletter, entertainment, cooking demonstrations, food education,
gardening, vendor/farmer/customer recruitment, sponsorship, bookkeeping,
management, and more!
