Method Man and Redman Film Video
Some of us in Bed-Stuy are forced to journey all the way over to Bushwick just to pick up our mail. I am usually a little annoyed by this, mostly because it’s a long journey and because it’s no picnic once you get there. I was more than a little annoyed today because it’s so lovely outside and the last thing I wanted to do was to spend a good, high-quality spring day over in the Metropolitan Bushwick Post Office.
I set off on my post office trip a little before noon and when I got to Humboldt Street I came upon Method Man and Redman filming a video!
They were in front of the bodega on the corner of Humboldt and Debevoise. You can see our underperforming post office in the background.
There was a small crowd nearby. There seemed to be a lot of youngsters in the crowd (Uhm, shouldn’t you be in somebody’s school?).
They had to stop filming a couple of times because of cars passing by that had their windows down and music blaring (You see? Even Method Man and Redman can’t work when you roll down the street blasting your lame music on your car stereo. A-hem.)
Pretty cool. For once I got rewarded for going to the Bushwick Post Office.
