In ways both subtle and striking, wildflowers from the Bed-Stuy Meadow planting are coming into bloom.

    I hope people (or the city) don’t mistake them for weeds and pull them out.

    I 5 years on my block I’ve seen very little evidence of weeding! But some of the vacant lots are mown.
