The Bread Stuy Backyard Film Fest kicked off last Wednesday and they’re looking for filmmakers who are interested in submitting their shorts as a prelude to the feature film. This is a great way for Bed-Stuy’s own to get some exposure. The flim fest happens every Wednesday. For time, venue and more details, please contact Bread Stuy (401 Lewis Ave.) at 718.771.0633 or info@breadstuy.com. Selected shorts will be announced on the eve of the event. All of us may not get to go, so be sure to let us know what films made it in!  By chance, did you submit your film? Know anyone else who did?  Let us know.

Unfortunately, I’ve never gotten a chance to go to this, so it’s new to me!
apparently, this is their third year. however, i’m not sure if such a call to filmmakers to submit their films is a new thing.
