Come out to the opening day of the Malcolm X Boulevard Community Farmers’ Market this Saturday, July 11, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm! This year’s market will be held every Saturday morning in the same location as last year (in front of Jackie Robinson Park on Malcolm X Blvd between Marion and Chauncey Streets). There will be the youth stand with fresh produce from the Bed Stuy Farm, several farmers from upstate and Long Island and a local baker!
The market accepts EBT, WIC, FMNP, health bucks and cash. For every $5 you spend on your EBT card get $4 free coupon!

The Bed Stuy Youthmarket on Lewis & Decatur also opens on Saturday! Spoilt for choice!
I stopped by Brooklyn Rescue Mission last week (they run the market) and I got a sneak preview in the form of some broccoli out of the Bed Stuy Farm. DELICIOUS! Can’t wait!
How are the prices? You only get the $4 coupon if you use an EBT card?
