Owner of the Butternut Market Space?

A reader just sent us this email:

I wanted to contact you to see if you know of any new development with the Butternut Market. I heard the project was on hold and I would be interested in talking to the owner of the building on a possible other use of the space until the project proceeds again, even if it is just temporary. Any idea of who the owner is or who I could contact? I would very much appreciate the help. Thank you.

If you know who owns the Butternut Market space (366 Lewis Avenue) (on Stuyvesant and Macon), then please post the information in the comments section below or send an email with the information to Violaine Haeringer at willardaz@gmail.com.

Perhaps she meant the most recent location on Stuyvesant and Macon:

Butternut had the yellow “coming soon ” banner hanging on the Lewis Ave. location for many, many months. Now the same banner has been on the Stuyvesant Ave. shop for many months, (at least since early spring) and it doesn’t look like any progress has been made. I don’t see any indication that the craiglist ad is for Butternut.

from most recent public record (2 year old building permit):

    Alan Young
    16 Court St #2107
    Brooklyn NY

But is he the same “sketchy serial-restaurant-destroyer, disbarred-lawyer, grifter-from-Henry-Street” as this Alan Young? :
