DLG Productions first produced Yesterday I Died in response to the tragic Somerset and Newark murders during the summer of 2007. The play, which features teen actors, chronicles the lives of young people killed in New Jersey and the reactions to their murders. The play also features other stories of individuals who have been affected by local and national violence. Yesterday I Died will premier in Brooklyn at the end of this month and will consist of new stories of Brooklyn youth murders and will feature Brooklyn students in the production.
The performances will take place Friday, September 25th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, September 26th at 3:30 pm. Both performances will be held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church located at 230 Decatur St. Brooklyn, NY.
ADMISSION IS FREE BUT SEATING IS LIMITED.
