This Monday is the next Public Meeting for Community Board 3! The agenda isn’t up yet but check here for meeting information.
Also, the Malcolm X Community Farmer’s Market, which is run by Brooklyn Rescue Mission, is participating in Bed Stuy Alive! as one of the Shop Bed Stuy vendors! On both October 10th and October 17th, you can shop at the market with discounted prices as well as enjoy some of the live entertainment and special vendors! Tours of the nearby Bed Stuy Farm will also be taking place concurrently with the market on these days.
There are still vendor slots available if you or anyone you know would like to sell their specialty items (does not need to be food related!).
If you are a musician or dancer who would also be interested in joining our performance schedule, please contact us.
In addition, we are looking for some additional volunteers on these days to assist with childrens’ activities such as facepainting and balloon animal making.
