If you’ve paid Bread Stuy a visit this month, you may have seen the free Write in BK writing compositions from the fall quarter.
“Write in BK is a group for local writers of color from all genres and levels of experience (fiction, non-fiction, screenwriters, poets, novice, professional, etc.). The purpose of the group is to meet with other writers to share works, ideas and support each other’s craft.”
The next meeting (the last for this year) will be on Tuesday, December 29th from 7 – 9pm at Brownstone Books – 409 Lewis Avenue (between Decatur & McDonough Streets). Donations is $3 and/or snacks to help support the group. For more information or to RSVP, contact Tiffany Jackson at writeinbk@gmail.com or twitter/writeinbk. You can also visit her website at www.tiffanydjackson.com.
