The Brooklyn Prom Project: Making Prom Dreams Come True

Dazzle Divaz, the mobile party service that makes girls ages 4 to 14 into pretty princesses or fun fairies are sponsoring a dress drive that helps teen girls get dazzled for their high school prom.

The goal of the Brooklyn Prom Project is to help financially challenged teen girls in Brooklyn attend their upcoming 2010 high school prom. We are seeking donations of new and gently used formal occasion attire in all sizes such as:
- Cocktail & Social Occasion Dresses
- Bridesmaid Dresses
- Formal Occasion Shoes
- Formal Occasion Jewelry & Accessories
- Unopened Cosmetics and Beauty Products

All items will be distributed to students FREE of charge.

Donations can be dropped off in Bed-Stuy from now through April 30th at:
House of Art
373 Lewis Avenue (at Macon Street)
Brooklyn, NY  11233

They will also make arrangements for pick up!  Call 1 (877) DAZZZLE or e-mail dazzledivaz1@aol.com.

Thank you for posting this. I was just about to donate two dresses to another organization. But I’ll go with this one instead. I remember how expensive this was for my mom ( a million years ago) and I would really like to help out a young lady from the community.

I have sparkly silver evening sandals I wore in my sister’s wedding, perfectly preserved and in like-new shape, that have been sitting in my closet for almost seven years now. I think I finally know what to do with them!
