There’s a tree in need in our neighborhood–it’s located at 192 Pulaski Street between Throop and Tompkins. Do you live on this [...]

Creative Blossoms Is A Late Bloomer
A withering bouquet in a florist window is a bad sign, but with Creative Blossoms (370 Lewis Avenue, between Macon and Halsey Streets) there’s a reason why. According to their website which appears to have been redesigned, they’re in the process of moving to another location in Bed-Stuy. Some have wondered if Creative Blossoms [...]

Choles Beauty Supply: A Unique Business in Bed-Stuy
The Progressive Southside and I got a chance to visit a brand new business on Marcus Garvey Boulevard called Choles Beauty Supply. What’s unique about this business is that the owners are African-American, which is unusual when it comes to beauty supply stores. The business has been open for about four months.
Toni, Dawn [...]

Other notices around the block state that the crane is assigned for work at 521 Halsey Street, which is the address of the billiards social joint Eight Ball Center. Does anyone have any details as [...]
