Therapy Wine Bar’s New Neighbor

The storefront property hidden behind security shutters for so long next door to Therapy Wine Bar (364 Lewis Avenue, between Macon and Halsey Streets) has finally come to life.  Over the past couple of weeks, it’s been replaced by a see through shutter and has gone through some renovations.  Passerbys are able to see new but dusty hardwood floors and a brick exposed wall.  It also looks like the second and third floors were renovated as well.  Both stores also mounted trendy wood strips in place of a sign marquee.  Does anyone know what the business plans are for this new space?

Coming soon to 366 Lewis Ave: Tin City Drug & General Store. The shop will carry body and personal care products, over-the-counter drugs, cosmetics, eco-friendly household supplies, and a selection of natural foods (with a focus on local brands). There will also be an old fashioned soda fountain serving drinks and ice cream.

Perfect. Exactly what this neighborhood needs. Forget lugging my Duane Reade purchases all the way home on the subway. Soda fountain sounds great. I have a feeling it’s gonna be a hot summer!
