T&T Vernon Community Gardens Welcomes Spring with Colorful Flower Beds

It’s time to get your gardening tools out and get down and dirty! The folks over at T&T Vernon Community Garden located at
200 Vernon Avenue between Throop and Tompkins have recently started spring planting by adding some flower beds to their garden. The sight of tulips and daffodils always makes me feel happy. Thanks to garden members Ruth Phillips (for the photos) and Ena McPherson (for sending them in).

I’ve never planted anything, ever, but during a recent trip to Home Depot I suddenly wanted to try my hand at planting tomatoes. I didn’t get any seeds because, well, I wouldn’t even know where to begin! Assuming you didn’t get blown away by the winds this past weekend, were any of you able to start your gardening projects? If so, what are you planting?
