Food 4 Thought Cafe & Restaurant (445 Marcus Garvey Boulevard at MacDonough Street) introduces brunch on the weekends. Not just brunch, but an extended brunch menu from 11AM – 5PM! They also added a couple of tasty dishes that are named after the borough and the spirit of Bed-Stuy. Mr. Brooklyn is a London steak burger topped with turkey bacon and fixins, served with cajun fries. Ms. Brooklyn is more of a dainty dish – avocado, pimento, hummus, cheddar, and orange ginger sause served on a spinach wrap. A neighborhood favorite may be the 11226, chicken breast topped with turkey bacon with a choice of fries or baby greens. There are also omelets, pancakes and smoothies available for eating in or take out. Mmmmm…are you thinking what I’m thinking?
