Check out this beautifully shot video directed by Spike Lee featuring spoken word artist Lemon Andersen. The video is an ad for ABSOLUT® BROOKLYN, the new limited edition apple and ginger flavored vodka by ABSOLUT®. The poem is the one that Andersen performed at the recent Brooklyn Blogfest. (Tip: Let this movie load completely before you view it.)

Two lines of the poem are featured on the limited edition bottle of Absolut Brooklyn: “Somewhere in the world Brooklyn in da house and you know we won’t stop spreading love cause that’s our way.”

This post is a part of my partnership with ABSOLUT® VODKA. I received a bottle of ABSOLUT BROOKLYN and a pretty cool flip camera for this promotion.

I haven’t opened my bottle, and I don’t plan to. I haven’t tasted it yet (although I’ve had plenty of opportunities). If you like flavored vodkas, I think you’ll like it. The folks that like bitter, hard drinks and the type of people who prefer dry wine (yuck!), probably won’t like it I’m guessing.
