If you’re interested in affordable housing, check out the Gates Avenue Cooperatives. The are having an open house on Wednesday, July 28th (tomorrow!) from 6pm to 7:30 pm.
Some details:
-Sales prices are from 134k – 167k for one and two bedroom units. Buyers’ income must range between 50K- 84,480K.
-They would like for folks to arrive as early as possible so they can view the apartments, fill out applications and make general inquiries. If anyone would like to fill out the application beforehand so that it can be submitted the day of the open house, they can download applications (and floorplans) by going to www.thegatescoop.org.
-The building is located at 566 Gates Avenue between Tompkins and Throop and can be accessed by the B15, B43 and B52 or by taking the G to Bedford-Nostrand or the C to Kingston-Throop.
