People always complain about Fulton Street, so I took some pics of a few things I like about it:

This brand-new building at 1365 Fulton (New York Ave) has gorgeous plantings on each balcony, coordinated with planters on the roof and at the curb. I wonder what they can see through the telescope on the second floor?
Side note: While I was standing there admiring 1365 Fulton and trying to get a decent shot of the façade, a friendly woman came up to me and commented that she really likes the building, too, and then handed me her card. Remember “Eyebrows by Rita” in Fort Greene? She had a tiny storefront on the corner of Fulton and Fort Greene Place, with a distinctive hand-painted sign. It disappeared a few years ago, replaced by a smoke shop. I always wondered what happened to her. As it turns out, she’s still on Fulton St and still threading brows but now in Bed-Stuy, a few doors west of 1365. Pay her a visit!

WHHHAAAATTT??? Wow this post seriously made my day. Rita was the first person who threaded my eyebrows and she is amazing! I go to a place in downtown Manhattan but since I no longer work there, I don’t find myself around there so often. I’m so happy I can return to Rita

OMG, a friend of mine is going to scream when I tell Rita’s is in Bed-Stuy. I’ve purchased some really nice summer skirts (also imported from who knows where) from a shop (not the one pictured) on Fulton street for 10 bucks.
