Pesticide Spraying in Bed-Stuy

PESTICIDE SPRAYING – Bedford-Stuyvesant, Bushwick and East Williamsburg
Thurs. Aug. 5 btw the hours of 8:15pm – 6am the following morning, weather
permitting

The NYC Health Dept. plans to spray pesticide Anvil 10+10 to reduce the
number of mosquitoes in the following neighborhoods:

Area Codes – 11206, 11221, 11237

Whenever possible stay indoors during spraying

Persons with asthma or other respiratory conditions are especially
encouraged to stay inside during spraying

Air conditioners may remain on.  If you wish to reduce the risk of indoor
exposure, turn fans and air conditioners off or set air conditioner vent to
the closed position or recirculate function

Remove children’s toys, outdoor equipment & clothes from outside areas

Anyone experiencing adverse reactions should seek medical care or call the
NYC Poison Control Center at 212 – POISONS
