  1. Love seeing local street art!

Me too! I love it when I’m walking down the street and I happen upon some art in the unlikeliest of places.

  3. I am reminded of Basquiat here.

Have you seen “Willoughby Windows” Downtown Brooklyn? It’s not exactly street art, but a great interpretation of abandoned storefronts.

I love those Willoughby Windows! It truly makes that stretch of abandoned storefronts an interesting stroll. Definitely one of the best improvements of the downtown area. There were also some cool installations on Flatbush Avenue Extension (?) around the Applebee’s and McDonalds a few months back. Whoever thought of taking empty storefronts and using them as temporary spaces for showcasing art is brilliant.

  5. I remember that on Flatbush! Agreed!

  6. BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD.... says:

Not that we have anything to do with the image above but if you like street art come check out our next opening Labor Day Weekend– Saturday, September 4th from 7-10pm. Music, drinks, art, art lovers and an outdoor space free on Malcolm X Blvd. What’s better than that?
