Breukelen Cellars
Hello, what’s this? A new wine shop? I wonder when it’s going to open — the sign has been up for many weeks.
Also:
I swear this is the last photo I’m going to post of blatantly mishandled snow collection and heaping garbage.

#Snowpocalypse or #Snowloko?
Hey, it hasn’t snowed in over 24 hours and it still looks pretty much like this on my block. Has your block been plowed yet? The Mayor is making his excuses on air right now.
UPDATE: The La Table Exquise fundraiser originally scheduled for tonight has been postponed to Jan. 8

I went by Tiny Cup last week to order some holiday baked goods and found this note on the door:

NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission Finishes Bed-Stuy Study
LPC first surveyed Bed-Stuy in the 1970s, resulting in the creation of the Stuyvesant Heights Historic District in 1973.
Since then, residents have requested the creation of additional historic districts, but in the mysterious fashion common to city agencies, no further areas were designated until the advent of 2009′s Alice and Agate Courts Historic District.
But now, [...]

Random Pictures of Storm Damage
Tree limbs fell on cars along Marcus Garvey Boulevard.
There was also a tree on my block with the top sheared clean off by the wind, a typical sign of tornado damage, according to the New York Times.
How does it look on your block? How did the storm (now classified as not one, but two tornadoes) [...]
