I just received word that there will be a debate for the candidates for the 36th District council seat on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Brooklyn College (Campus Road between East 27th Street and Amersfort Place). The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and it is free.

Winston’s Campaign Trail Goes Underground

Spotted…City Council candidate Mark Winston Griffith and his team greeting straphangers at the Utica Avenue A/C subway station during Friday morning’s rush hour.  The night before, Griffith was seen speaking at a private event held at Bread Stuy.

If I’m Elected…More City Council Candidates & Outdoor Print Ad Campaigns

A stroll down Malcolm X Boulevard this weekend revealed more print ad promotions of City Council candidates.  Some ads were placed in storefront windows and bodega entrances.  A couple of stores showed no particular endorsement, since their windows displayed two or even three ads.

Vote For Me! City Council Candidates & Outdoor Print Ad Campaigns

Primary Day is Tuesday, September 15th and some of the Bed-Stuy City Council candidates in the running are spreading the word through outdoor print advertising.
